Week Of
My aunts were troopers and came to town early to help us with last minute stuff. Pictures of them, and the goody bags we delivered to hotels, etc. Apparently my dad filled all those out of town bags up with stuff. Who knew he'd get that bored?
Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner
Taken by my mom and my cousin. Some interesting facts: My mom stitched the wedding kneeler in our church when I was just a little girl. It was an honor to use it, and something that she had probably only dreamed of. She also made the red velvet cake for the rehearsal dinner, and it was FABULOUS. How could it not be with 4 sticks of butter in the icing alone (yes, we're from the South - no, we're not related to Paula Deen).
Morning of and Getting Ready For the Wedding
Various last minute things - my room, me hanging out with dad, my dress hanging on the door in my room ready to go to the church, and last minute runner alterations courtesy my mom and her friend (who also made my veil and the flowergirl dresses).
My mom also got some shots of the bridesmaids getting ready to go, which I'm pleased about since the photographers didn't get any. Apparently while we were out taking bridal portraits, the flowergirls practiced dropping petals all in the bride's room!
